In this assignment you will be asked to use a cool piece of software called Virtual Neurons, which can be downloaded from here. The software allows you to build a neural circuit connecting sensory input to motor output. In the exercise you will first complete a set of tasks so you can learn the basic elements of the software and some basic concepts regarding neural circuits. You will then be tasked with design your own neural circuit.
2. Click 'Submit Assignment' and upload the worksheet when you are finished.
While going through the exercise, keep in mind various concepts we have covered in the course so far, such as: action potential, excitatory neuron, inhibitory neuron, interneuron, motor neuron, neuromuscular junction, threshold, and others you will learn during the exercise.
The software is pretty self explanatory, but if you'd like some documentation you can find it here. If you are having trouble designing circuits, some solutions to the problems, as well as additional circuits can be found here (but please don't check this unless you are totally stuck).
Can't change a rubric once you've started using it.
